I had already decided to take a look at this index when I noticed a signal from autochartist. I didn’t do any further analysis – bad mistake!
Their signal was to go long but if you look at the image below the price is on a downward trend.
The trade was entered at the arrow with the expectation that it would reach close to previous heights, sadly it didn’t and I exited asap for a very small profit.
But then I entered another trade very soon after thinking perhaps it might still head upwards. Another mistake.
