I set the SL at 1 point with a bet size of £1. I was meaning to take half the profits when the price had gained by 2 points (where the black line is in the image), giving a profit equal to the potential loss. But I wasn’t confident it was moving fast enough or would go high enough so I got out early for only £0.57.
At that point I should have moved the SL up to break-even, it would have been the same 1 point clearance, instead I left it as is. As you will see in the next trade.
