I only took this trade to pass the time as I waited for the Tesla price to work its way down to near the bottom of its range!
Really shouldn’t have, gas has been going down since last year but was near its all time low, I’m not sure how much further it has to fall. Then there was an increase today, outside of the range. Clearly not normal, I shouldn’t have touched it!
I just thought (hoped?) it would continue to go down from there, and it did for a little bit. Then it turned around, out of sight. And out of my account size – I got a margin call so ended the trade.
Now I’ve got about £140 to make up. I’m just going to do nothing but sit on Tesla for a few days, hopefully that won’t suddenly decide to change its bias too.
I will keep an eye on the gas news and prices, maybe it will come down again, I’ll try and be a bit more careful.
