There was a dramatic drop in the DAX (and other European indices) this morning. I thought, after it consolidated for a while, it would head back upwards and I placed a long trade as it started rising as shown in the image above (see the small circle on the big red candle for where I entered). Unfortunately it continued heading downwards.
The price action did end up heading upwards later in the afternoon, I should have given it longer.
